ET grilled Carey's beau backstage at her Hollywood, California, concert on Monday.

Bryan Tanaka isn’t just smitten with Mariah Carey -- the dancer also can’t stop gushing about her kids!

ET’s Carly Steel caught up with the 34-year-old performer backstage at Carey’s Monday night show at the Hollywood Bowl, where Tanaka opened up about his special bond with the songstress and her family.

“It’s magical for her and the kids, you know,” he said, after helping  Carey’s 6-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe onto the stage to join their mom during “Always Be My Baby.” “It's so special to see her legacy sharing the stage with her, just to get that essence. They're born into it, you know? So, it's super-special to her and special to be a part of it and see them grow with that in their eyes.”

Tanaka added that being able to share the stage with the icon every night is “amazing” and it's his favorite part of Carey and Lionel Richie’s All the Hits tour.

“Just being with her -- to share a passion of performing and music,” he said. “Sharing a special moment and a special thing we both cherish so much -- it's magical, just doing it together.”

Tanaka added that Carey’s performance at the iconic Los Angeles venue was “phenomenal.”

As well as performing onstage with Carey, he also helped direct the show and said he has enjoyed expanding his creative horizons.

“I've been in show business for a while, so I've learned a lot, and now I'm starting to spread my wings in different departments,” he said. “It's an amazing situation.”
