Adele Hosts Private Screening of 'Despicable Me 3' for Grenfell Tower Survivors

Adele's efforts to support the victims of the Grenfell Tower fire continue.

Over the weekend, the GRAMMY-winning singer held a private screening of the movie Despicable Me 3 for some of the younger survivors and their families.

The spirit-lifting event is in addition to her previous work, raising money for those affected by the disaster that claimed the lives of at least 80 people and left others without homes. A source recently told The Sun, "Adele sees her work in the community as a full-time priority now her touring days are over for the foreseeable future."

"Everyone was overwhelmed by her generosity," the source added.

Fans shared their excitement at meeting the singer on Twitter, thanking her for her ongoing work with the survivors.

Adele has previously visited with responding firefighters and asked concertgoers to donate during her U.K. shows, as well as visiting the actual the site of the blaze just hours after the fire to offer comfort to the victims.
