She's 25, stomps down the runways with a smirk and a crop of spiky blonde hair and rocks out with bands for fun in her down-time. Her name is AGYNESS DEYN (sounds like "Agnes Dean") and she's already graced the covers of British, Italian and American Vogue, walked the coveted closing position in OSCAR DE LA RENTA, NARCISO RODRIGUEZ and MICHAEL KORS' New York shows and has been dubbed the "next KATE MOSS" by her hometown British press -- no less.
Her quirky, punk-waif style -- think DEBBIE-GIBSON meets BRIGITTE NIELSEN -- may not be GISELE-sexy but it's landed her campaigns with BURBERRY, GIORGIO ARMANI and HUGO BOSS. She can currently be seen singing in a music video with British band FIVE O'CLOCK HEROES and, next, the British-bred pixie will promote JEAN PAUL GAULTIER's new fragrance, Ma Dame, his first in 15 years.
In the new French ads for Ma Dame, Aggy is seen taking a giant pair of shears and slicing and dicing her hair and clothing. Gaultier tells Style.com: "It's my type of woman -- at the same time fragile and strong, like a tomboy that is a little androgynous in attitude so, you know, she can cut her hair if she wants."
