Life imitates art when ET's Samantha Harris sits down with the stars of 'Grown Ups' -- Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Chris Rock and David Spade -- and discovers that the good times they had making the movie translate into real life for this group of friends.

"We've been buddies our whole life," Adam tells Samantha, who is with the guys at Malibou Lake Mountain Club. "It was pretty reunion-y like."

"Yeah, it's crazy," adds Kevin. "We just kind of hang. I think that's really what it comes down to, right?"

'Grown Ups' is about five friends and former teammates who reunite to honor the passing of their childhood basketball coach. With their wives and kids in tow, they spend the Fourth of July holiday weekend together at the lake house where they celebrated their championship years earlier. Picking up where they left off, they discover why growing older doesn't mean growing up.

And when it comes to basketball, Adam says he is the best in the group.

"I'm the only one who plays, that's why," he tells Samantha. "I'm only better than these guys 'cause I play a lot, but these guys, if they put their mind to it, could be the best in the country."

So who has the worst skills? Chris volunteers himself, until Adam says, "Just say [Rob] Schneider [who is also in the film] because he is not here."

In real life as in the film, the guys vacation together and have been to Hawaii and Cabo San Lucas. David jokes, "It's good when you're with Adam…. Someone's family has a big, like, station wagon you all cram in -- and Adam has a big plane."

'Grown Ups' hits theaters on June 25.
