It seemed everyone came out for the 2010 CMT Music Awards Wednesday night, with John Mayer and "Jersey Shore" cast member Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino flashing their abs and country crooner Carrie Underwood winning big. ET has the details from the festive night...
Underwood won two awards, one being Video of the Year for her video "Cowboy Casanova" and the other being CMT Performance of the Year for “Temporary Home” from her concert series "Invitation Only: Carrie Underwood."
She gave a shout out to her fans when accepting Video of the Year, saying, "Awesome fans. ... Awesome, awesome, amazing, awesome. ... Just the fans. Thanks for seeing me out on the tour. God bless you guys. You are the best."
Meanwhile, fan favorites Brooks & Dunn, Lady Antebellum, Keith Urban, Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton and Trace Adkins were also winners. "We were very much not expecting this," Brooks joked when accepting the Duo Video of the Year award for their track “Indian Summer." "We were not expecting this so much that Mr. Dunn has gone to the restroom -- in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Nicole Kidman's hubby Urban won Male Video of the Year for his song “’Til Summer Comes Around," while breakout group Lady Antebellum won for Group Video of the Year for their hit track "Need You Now."
