A slimmed down John Goodman chatted with David Letterman about his weight loss journey, saying "it's kind of like letting the gas out of the balloon."
The "Treme" actor revealed on CBS' "Late Show" that at one point he was pushing 400 pounds. "I'd get off of 'Roseanne' every spring. I'd lose 60 pounds every spring. Then I got too fond of the barley corn and start missing it too much -- I'd gain it back and then some, every year."
Goodman says he still has a ways to go, but tells Letterman of his weight loss transformation, "It's like night and day. ... I'm getting a lot of exercise, feeling great -- it's going to be an ongoing process for the rest of my life."
Letterman commented on the actor's new look, saying "You look wonderful!"
