Seth Rogen gets serious as the masked crimefighter 'The Green Hornet,' in theaters January 14, and ET has an exclusive first look at the preview trailer!
Rogen plays Britt Reid, a rich, spoiled playboy who is heir to Los Angeles' largest newspaper fortune. When his father (Tom Wilkinson) dies, Britt teams up with resourceful company employee Kato (Taiwanese artist Jay Chou) to do something worthwhile with the resources at his disposal. Armed with the help of his new secretary, Lenore Case (Cameron Diaz), and The Black Beauty, an indestructible, weapon-packed car, The Green Hornet and Kato battle chief underworld criminal Benjamin Chudnofsky ('Inglourious Basterds' baddie Christoph Waltz) and his united army of gangs.
Directed by Michel Gondry ('Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind') with a script written by Rogen and Evan Goldberg ('Superbad,' 'Pineapple Express'), the film is based upon the classic radio serial, which ran from 1936 to 1952, created by George W. Trendle.
