Jake Gyllenhaal has stepped up to the plate as a voice for the organization Stand Up To Cancer, and ET has his public service announcement.
"We believe that when we all stand up together, we can make cancer history," Jake says in the PSA.
This PSA will air during tonight's MLB All-Star Game.
Network news anchors Katie Couric, Diane Sawyer, and Brian Williams are also joining together with one common goal in mind, the SU2C event that will take place on September 10 and will be broadcast live from Los Angeles on all major networks.
More than $100 million was raised by the event in 2008. This year's event aims to attract even more donors to contribute to cancer research.
