'True Blood''s Sam Trammell Gears Up for 'Guns, Girls and Gambling'

"True Blood"'s Sam Trammell is slated to star in a new film opposite the likes of Christian Slater and Gary Oldman. ET's got the details!

Trammell, who plays bar owner Sam Merlotte on HBO's Emmy-nominated vampire series, has been cast to play a sheriff in the indie crime thriller 'Guns, Girls, and Gambling.'

The film, written and being directed by Michael Winnick, is currently shooting in Utah and revolves around the search for a priceless American Indian artifact stolen during a poker game.
