ET was exclusively on the set for the Romeo and Juliet wedding of "The Young and the Restless" star-crossed lovers Billy Abbott (Billy Miller) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
An homage to the '50s -- Victoria is a fan of "Father Knows Best" -- the wedding was shot on the front lawn of the house where "Leave it to Beaver" used to film, Victoria's dress is a replica of one worn by Audrey Hepburn in 1957's 'Funny Face,' and the couple are married by a Judge Anderson, played by none other than Elinor Donahue, best known as Betty Anderson on "Father Knows Best."
"I think it's adorable, I really do," Elinor tells ET. "I think it's extremely well written and not overdone."
Billy and Victoria come together for this wedding with the idea that you can have a happily ever after.
"It's really warm and it's a beautiful day and we're in love," Amelia says.
So was Victoria a bridezilla?
"Not really," Billy tells ET. "[It was] pretty easy. It was, 'Let's get married.' 'OK. That sounds like a great idea.'"
Since no soap opera wedding ever goes off without a hitch, find out if the couple finally say "I do" when "The Young and the Restless" airs on Wednesday, Sept. 8 on CBS
