Heather Locklear Fires Half the Staff on 'Melrose Place'

Heather Locklear played Amanda, a scheming businesswoman, on the original "Melrose Place." Now she returns to shake things up on The CW's updated version -- and ET is with one of TV's most popular blondes to find out what brought her back.

"I want to be in the cool place with my daughter," admits Heather, who is mom to 12-year-old daughter Ava. She adds that her real-life boyfriend Jack Wagner, who was also in the original "MP" cast, is happy she is back to work. "He's glad I'm working and not watching him 24/7," she says.

Amanda returns with a vengeance. On walking into WPK, she fires half the staff, including Caleb (Victor Webster), who has been running the p.r. firm. Amanda makes it clear to Ella (Katie Cassidy) that the Anton V launch party with Riley (Jessica Lucas) had better go off without a hitch or Ella can vacate her office too.
