Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are officially set to wed on Saturday, May 19 of next year, Kensington Palace confirmed on Friday.

"His Royal Highness Prince Henry of Wales and Ms. Meghan Markle will marry on 19th May, 2018. Today's announcement follows earlier confirmation of the month of the wedding and its location at St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle," the statement read.

The couple announced their exciting engagement news last month.

"The marriage of Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle will take place at St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle in May 2018," the Palace tweeted from its official account shortly after they confirmed the wedding plans in November. "Her Majesty The Queen has granted permission for the wedding to take place at the Chapel. The Royal Family will pay for the wedding."

Markle is gearing up to spend her first Christmas with the royals. The former Suits actress' attendance is a break in tradition for the famous family as in the past a holiday invite was only extended after a couple were officially married.

But fans can expect to see the stunning bride-to-be at the morning church service on Christmas day alongside Harry and his family.
