Possibly the most famous wedding dress of this century will reportedly be made by a relatively unknown British designer.
According to The Huffington Post, Sophie Cranston, the 34-year-old founder of the Libelula clothing line, has been awarded the coveted duty of making Kate Middleton's wedding dress.
Although she is not yet a household name, Sophie has garnered respect in the fashion industry, winning the Designer of the Year Award at London's Graduate Fashion Week in 1999.
Some of Sophie's clients include Emma Watson and Piers Morgan's wife, writer Celia Warden, who also turned to Sophie when she needed a gown for her nuptials to the TV host last year.
