With their wedding fast approaching, Prince William reportedly shared a very sacred part of his life with his soon-to-be wife Kate Middleton. According to the Daily Mirror, the couple visited the gravesite where Princess Diana was laid to rest.
The report claims they traveled by boat to the burial site at Althorp Estate. Overcome by emotion, Kate and William held hands and placed flowers on the ground to honor his late mum.
A source told the publication, "…even though Kate never met Diana she knows what an incredible woman she was and it is very important to her [that] she can share and understand William's love and grief for his mum."
The tomb is located on an island called The Oval, which is part of an estate belonging to the Spencer family since the 16th century. Diana's brother Charles Spencer was purportedly aware of his nephew and Kate's visit.
