Tobey Maguire, Jake Gyllenhaal and Natalie Portman create a potent love triangle in the powerful drama 'Brothers,' in theaters this December, and we have a first look at the preview trailer!

'Brothers' stars Tobey and Jake as siblings Sam and Tommy, two polar opposites: Sam is a steadfast marine and family man about to embark on his fourth tour of duty. Tommy is a drifter just out of jail who gets by on his charm and wit.

When Sam's chopper is shot down in the mountains of Afghanistan and he's believed to be dead, Tommy turns over a new leaf by taking responsibility for Sam's wife, Grace (Portman), and children -- leading to an unexpected attraction. Later, Sam returns home after being captured and tortured by Taliban fighters, shifting the family dynamic into super uncomfortable territory…

Comedy legend Mel Brooks will receive the tribute treatment by The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and some of his favorite stars are lining up to be there!

ET's own Leonard Maltin will host the evening's events on Friday, July 24, at 8 p.m. at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills, featuring numerous film clips and stories from Mel's artistic collaborators and friends, including scheduled guests Richard Benjamin, Teri Garr, Cloris Leachman, Carl Reiner, Tracey Ullman and Lesley Ann Warren.

One of only 12 individuals to have won all four major show business awards -- the Oscar, Emmy, Grammy and Tony -- Mel Brooks' career as a writer, producer, director, composer and actor/comedian spans over 50 years, highlighted by such comedy classics as 'Blazing Saddles,' 'High Anxiety,' 'History of the World – Part 1' and the film and stage versions of 'The Producers' and 'Young Frankenstein.'

The popular vampire movie series 'Twilight' -- starring heartthrob Robert Pattinson -- continues with the third movie installment 'Eclipse' set to begin production this summer. ET has the exact date...

'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse' will go into production on August 17 and David Slade will be directing the film. He also directed another vampire flick '30 Days of Night' in 2007.

'Eclipse' picks up where 'New Moon' left off, continuing the love triangle between mortal Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart), the werewolf Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner) and her true love Edward Cullen (Pattinson.)

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is expanding its ranks by 134, having extended invitations to Hollywood artists and executives including Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway, Seth Rogen and 'Slumdog Millionaire' director Danny Boyle. Watch the video!

Henson, James McAvoy, Paul Rudd, Rod Lurie and Tom Cruise producing partner Paula Wagner.

ET has the latest on the injury Diane Keaton sustained today while filming her new movie.

"Diane Keaton is in good health and spirits following a fall on set of 'Morning Glory' where she bumped her head," Paramount Studios said in a statement.  "The actress was taken to a hospital for precautionary tests and has been cleared by doctors to return to work tomorrow."

The actress is said to be doing fine.

ET was on the red carpet with Cameron Diaz and her co-stars for the premiere of their new movie, 'My Sister's Keeper,' in New York on Wednesday night!

"What I'm so proud about this film is that it's a film that everyone can relate to," Cameron tells ET, adding that the bittersweet emotional drama is, in part, about "all the things that we fall in love with [and] all the things that break our hearts."

Hollywood hunk Ryan Reynolds is set to star in the new indie film 'Buried.'

Reynolds will play a civilian contractor who finds himself buried in a coffin in the desert with nothing but a cell phone, knife and candle after being kidnapped in Iraq, Variety says.

Production for the film will begin this month in Barcelona, the trade paper says.

Principal photography has begun in NYC on the third movie in the hit 'Step Up' film franchise -- and this time the dance drama is coming to you in eye-popping Digital 3-D.

Alyson Stoner ('Step Up') and Adam Sevani ('Step Up 2 the Streets') reprise their original roles in the third film -- helmed by 'Step Up 2' director Jon M. Chu -- which follows a tight-knit group of street dancers as they take on the world’s best breakdancers in life-changing showdown.

The first 3-D dance flick to shoot entirely in NYC is slated for a 2010 release.

ET headed to Hollywood for the premiere of the true crime drama 'Public Enemies,' with Christian Bale and Johnny Depp who proved that although they aren't public enemies in real life they are definitely two of Hollywood's most wanted men!

In the film Depp plays notorious 1960's bank robber John Dillinger, and Bale plays Melvin Purvis an FBI agent working to put Dillinger behind bars.

Depp explains to ET why he feels the public was so drawn to the charismatic outlaw.

The publishers of the Twilight series of books have released a new book cover -- and it features the stars of the films!

Zac Efron is set to star in a new currently untitled thriller, and the 21-year-old star will also co-executive produce the new film!

Zac will star in the film and executive produce the new project with Nathan Kahne of Mandate pictures, Variety reports.

The thriller also reunites the young actor with producers Jason Barrett and Leslie Dixon who he worked with on '17 Again', the trade paper says.

Following the news that she'll be returning to "Grey's Anatomy," Katherine Heigl has signed on to star in an upcoming romance flick.

The movie, 'Life as We Know It,' concerns two single people who are named caregivers for the daughter of their mutual friends who've died in an accident, says Variety.

Sexy 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen' stars Shia LaBeouf, Josh Duhamel, Megan Fox, and Tyrese Gibson brought their highly anticipated summer blockbuster to Hollywood on Monday night -- and ET was there for all of the excitement!

The stars of the film tell ET that the fans will not be disappointed by the 'Transformers' sequel and that they're in for a movie experience unlike any other.

"It's the biggest fireworks show you can buy tickets to," Shia boasts to ET's Mark Steines. "It's two and a half hours of Fourth of July. It's the best action movie you can buy tickets to for sure."

Cher has signed on to join Christina Aguilera in the Screen Gems' musical 'Burlesque' -- read on for more movie details!

Aguilera will play a talented singer from a small town who finds success and love while performing at a burlesque club. Cher will play Tess, a former dancer who runs the Los Angeles club, Variety reports.

Screen Gems President Clint Culpepper tells Variety that he is excited about Cher's involvement in the film. "She brings a soulfulness and gravitas to this character that will ground the story," he tells the trade paper. "The only person who was more excited than I am is Christina."

Break out the Kleenex... Cameron Diaz is back on the big-screen in the riveting, bittersweet emotional drama 'My Sister's Keeper,' featuring Abigail Breslin and Sofia Vassilieva, and she talks to our Kevin Frazier about what it was like playing a mom.

"I understand what it's like to love deeply," she tells Kevin. "I have nieces and nephews. I don't know what it's like to have my own child, but I know what it is to care about people."

In theaters June 26, 'My Sister's Keeper' finds Cameron as Sara, a mother who is devastated when her precious toddler daughter Kate (Sofia) comes down with a rare form of leukemia. Sara and her husband Brian (Jason Patric) conceive another child out of desperation, a daughter named Anna (Abigail), who is a perfect genetic match and will be able to save her sister's life. But the family's world is turned upside down with Anna decides, at age 11, to seek emancipation to avoid being forced to give her sister a kidney.

Actress Megan Fox was photographed seemingly denying a rose from a fan at the London premiere of 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen' last week. Fox says she feels "terrible" and would like to make it up the boy.

"If you know his name I'll send him a personal apology," the actress tells the Web site Collider. "I feel so sad for him. That's so terrible, that kills me."

Fox goes onto explain, "(A), I did not know that was a child and (B), what you don't see in that picture is there are like 80 million people everywhere. It's dark, all I see is flashes."

ET goes one-on-one with 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen' star Josh Duhamel, who dishes about his "puppy" love for wife Fergie and plans for children!

"I'm like a puppy, I'll just follow her wherever," Josh teases, recalling the time he journeyed to London to visit Fergie while she was shooting her upcoming film 'Nine.'

And though their busy schedules sometimes leave them continents apart, Josh tells ET he definitely wants to start a family with his wife. "It's always been something that I plan to do. And, it'll happen -- as soon as we can get in the same city," he says with a laugh.
