The 'Deadpool' star is nursing his wounds after jokingly getting rejected from the 'Avengers' team.

Ryan Reynolds isn't letting a little Avengers rejection get him down.

The Deadpool star congratulated the superhero sequel, Avengers: Infinity War, on its huge box office success, also sharing a photo of a cleverly crafted letter from one "Tony Stark," a.k.a. Iron Man.

In what appears to be a response to a desperate plea from Reynolds' alter ego, Deadpool, about joining forces with the Avengers team, the note reads, " Re: Joining the Avengers. No. Absolutely not. Go bother Prof. X. No. Sincerely, Tony Stark."

The official-looking letter rests on a cluttered desk beside a giant bottle of antacids.

"From a guy who never knows when to quit, I’m glad you guys never did," Reynolds captioned the Instagram snap. "Congrats #Avengers."

Reynolds, 41, has been all about spreading the superhero love.

Following the success of Wonder Woman, the actor praised Gal Gadot's character on a job well done when her film fared better than Deadpool at the box office.

Will others in the superhero universe send a bit of goodwill in Reynolds' direction? We'll find out next month when Deadpool 2 hits theaters on May 18.
