'Watchmen' Director's Cut

"Who is a superhero, and what does it do to you?" That's the question '300' director Zack Snyder asks viewers in this epic adaptation of the critically acclaimed graphic novel. 'Watchmen' takes place in an alternate 1985 America in which costumed superheroes are part of the fabric of everyday society. The plot is set in motion when one of their own, The Comedian, is murdered. Soon a conspiracy to kill and discredit all past and present superheroes comes to light. Will it have devastating effects on the future of mankind? And hey, who watches the Watchmen anyway?

The Director's Cut DVD and Blu-ray includes an additional 25 minutes of footage not seen in theaters, with more of Rorschach and a scene of Hollis Mason's death; 'Watchmen' Webisodes; the behind-the-scenes featurette "The Phenomenon: The Comic That Changed Comics"; a My Chemical Romance music video and digital copy of the film. Additional Blu-ray content includes the featurettes "Real Superheroes, Real Vigilantes" and "Mechanics: Technologies of a Fantastic World," plus "Warner Bros. Maximum Movie Mode," hosted by Snyder, who walks onscreen to analyze and break down select scenes along with cast and crew picture-in-picture video, 'Watchmen' timeline, stills and storyboard galleries.
