Usher as Sugar Ray Leonard
Usher recently confirmed he'll be playing boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard in his first leading role in a feature film. The Voice mentor said he's already been preparing for the role for more than a year, and still needs to lose 25 pounds before shooting in October. "He [Leonard] was an incredible motion guy, the way he moved around the ring, and I think my dancing will make it easier for me to pick up his moves," he told the AP. Robert De Niro will also star in the film as Hall of Fame trainer Ray Arcel. The film is scheduled to be released in early 2014.
