ET legal correspondent MARCIA CLARK, who was a prosecutor in the NICOLE BROWN SIMPSON and RON GOLDMAN murder trial against O.J. SIMPSON, is speaking out on O.J.'s recent arrest:

"Here is what's telling -- not only did the police not allow O.J. to go to the interview previously arranged for tomorrow, Monday, they did not call his lawyers to arrange for a private surrender as police usually do in high profile cases. The police went to him unannounced and snatched him from his hotel room early this morning. ... The fact that police did this the morning after they arrested a co-defendant says to me that the co-defendant dumped on him."

MICHAEL JACKSON's arrest on molestation charges on Thursday is bringing strong reactions from insiders who have worked with and against the self-proclaimed King of Pop. Tonight on ET, we have more perspectives on the story of the year.

"They had a private plane that wound up in a hanger, they had detectives running down the street. To do what they did played right into Michael Jackson's hands," says private detective ERNIE RIZZO. Eagle County, CO, Judge FREDERICK GANNETT ruled today that the KOBE BRYANT sexual assault case will go to trial. The L.A. Laker star's next court appearance is expected to happen on Nov. 10, at which time he may enter a plea. But the trial itself likely wouldn't get underway until late spring or early summer of 2004.

Former O.J. SIMPSON prosecutor MARCIA CLARK has been reporting on the high-profile case for ET and last week predicted that Kobe would "go to trial."

Legal analyst and former O.J. SIMPSON prosecutor MARCIA CLARK has been reporting on the KOBE BRYANT case for ET, and tonight she tells us what she expects this week at Wednesday's continued preliminary hearing to decide if the case will go to trial.

As far as any potential bombshells, Clark says, "There's a rumor that the defense has DNA evidence that was found in the semen that would indicate there was another sexual partner for the alleged victim other than Kobe Bryant. At this point, it's only a rumor and a rumor that was put out into the press in order to give some new reason for the last question asked by PAMELA MACKEY. Whether or not that will be pursued is a matter of whether they want to put on their own evidence to pump up the defense."
