The 29-year-old singer said she was "so grateful" for the organization's work.

Taylor Swift is giving back.

On Monday, the Tennessee Equality Project revealed that the 29-year-old pop star gifted the organization a sizable donation of $113,000. The organization, which advocates for LGBTQ rights in Tennessee, shared Swift's personal letter to Chris Sanders, its executive director, on social media.

The letter was written on Swift's own stationary -- which is headed with her name and declares, "Born in 1989, Loves cats" -- and comes amid a series of bills targeting LGBTQ individuals, one of which would allow adoption agencies to discriminate against same-sex couples.

"I'm writing you to say that I’m so inspired by the work you do, specifically in organizing the recent petition of Tennessee faith leaders standing up against the 'slate of hate' in our state legislature," the handwritten letter read. "Please convey my heartfelt thanks to them and accept this donation to support the work you and these leaders are doing. I’m so grateful that they’re giving all people a place to worship."

On Facebook, the organization said it was "honored" to reveal Swift's donation to their supporters.

"Taylor Swift has been a long-time ally to the LGBTQ community," TEP wrote. "She sees our struggle in Tennessee and continues to add her voice with so many good people, including religious leaders, who are speaking out for love in the face of fear."

Swift's donation follows the "Delicate" singer's very first political comments during the midterm elections last year. In her post at the time, Swift explained why she chose that moment to come forward and reiterated her personal beliefs.

"In the past I’ve been reluctant to publicly voice my political opinions, but due to several events in my life and in the world in the past two years, I feel very differently about that now," she wrote. "I always have and always will cast my vote based on which candidate will protect and fight for the human rights I believe we all deserve in this country."

"I believe in the fight for LGBTQ rights, and that any form of discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender is WRONG," she continued. "I believe that the systemic racism we still see in this country towards people of color is terrifying, sickening and prevalent. I cannot vote for someone who will not be willing to fight for dignity for ALL Americans, no matter their skin color, gender or who they love."
