ET caught up with Steve at Comedy Central's Night of Too Many Stars: An Overbooked Concert For Autism Education where he was gearing up to participate in a bit alongside Stephen Colbert. As for who will be replacing him on "The Office, the actor said he "had no idea" but assured ET that this season would be great. "We've shot 10 episodes so far and they're good. We've got a really strong season so far."

So what's next for the TV star? Steve told ET, "After that, spend some more time with my family. That's the short term plan."

Steve returns to "The Office" for his seventh and last season Thursday, September 23 on NBC.
