Few people were allowed to interview "Dancing with the Stars" judge Bruno Tonioli backstage on Tuesday night and ET's Niecy Nash was one of them! Watch to see Bruno's defense of his controversial critique of Michael Bolton.

"He did a fantastic job," Bruno said of Bolton's performance on Tuesday night. The singer returned to the show after his elimination to sing Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah." But on Monday, September 27, Bruno called Michael's jive one of the worst he had ever seen on the show. The judge told Niecy that he did not feel sorry for his remarks and that he was just telling the truth.

"If we could, we would keep everybody," said Bruno, who seemed to feel sympathetic towards Tuesday's eliminated contestant, Margaret Cho.

Bruno didn't reveal to us who his favorite dancer has been, but his vote for Most Voluptuous Dancer went to former "Dancing" contestant, Niecy Nash.

Tune in to an all new "Dancing with the Stars" Monday on ABC.
