It's babies, babies, babies on the set of "Grey's Anatomy" when ET's Samantha Harris gets the baby talk from Ellen Pompeo and Chyler Leigh with toddlers, Eric Dane with a newborn and Jessica Capshaw expecting her second.

"The thing is since I had Stella, it is so hard to cry because I am so happy," Ellen tells Samantha when asked about playing traumatic scenes. "She makes me so happy. It is like every day is Christmas and I don't want to cry. I have nothing to cry about. I used to be able to cry at the drop of a hat."

Being able to bring Stella to work with her also gives Ellen something to smile about, plus the "Grey's" schedule is do-able for moms who work.

"I am so lucky because of the way that it is here now … I always describe it like a relay race," says Jessica, who already has a son. "We have all these wonderful actors and sometimes the storyline concentrates on one more than the other, or two more than the other. In a way, if you look at the arc of the whole season, you end up having six or seven episodes where you are really heavy in them, but then in the rest of them, you are there and keeping storylines alive. It is kind of like a relay, we hand off to each other."

Chyler is one kid ahead of Jessica. She already has three children, the most recent, a daughter, was born in May 2009, during her hiatus.

"She was 8-1/2 weeks when I came back," she recalls. 'It was feeding her and literally be here, run back, feed her, run back and spend time with her because I had her in my trailer. That was challenging."

With "Grey's Anatomy" now in its seventh season, Chandra Wilson says watching everyone's families grow makes her feel good.

"Our babies are around and we get to see everybody grow and progress and everybody's personality," Chandra tells Samantha. "It feels good to say we have been here long enough to grow families."
