"Ghost Hunters" goes lives for Halloween on Sunday, featuring a six-hour investigation at the Buffalo Central Terminal in Buffalo, NY, featuring 18 cameras, plus four exclusive camera feeds on Syfy.com, which will be stationed to capture haunts throughout the massive terminal.

"This place was built in 1929," Amy Bruni, one of the investigators on Sunday night's show, tells ET. "There were a lot of people who came through here, especially during WWII. The soldiers … it was the last place they were when they said goodbye to their families. We think that emotional attachment is still here, and that is why there has been so much resulting paranormal activity."

The Halloween special episode will be hosted by Josh Gates, who will be joined by "Warehouse 13"'s Allison Scagliotti as co-host. In addition, "Ghost Hunters" investigators Jason Hawes, Grant Wilson, Steve Gonsalves, Dave Tango, Kris Williams, Barry FitzGerald and Adam Berry will be on hand, along with "Being Human"'s Meaghan Rath, "Fact or Faked"'s Ben Hansen, WWE Superstar Kofi Kingston and "Hollywood Treasure"'s Joe Maddalena.

"Every year we have a number of guests, usually from the Syfy Channel," Kris Williams adds. "We are looking forward to having them out here with us, getting a chance for them to investigate with us. It is always interesting to have someone who is completely new to the field to investigate with us."

So what do they do if the ghosts don't cooperate and make their presence known?

"Ghosts don't show up many a time," Amy says. "It is just one of those things for people to be there and experience for themselves what it is like to be on an investigation. Not always does something happen when you are there."

"Ghost Hunters"' live Halloween episode premieres October 31 from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Syfy.
