Jane Fonda on Her Breast Cancer Scare

Oscar winner Jane Fonda shared the emotional struggle of her cancer scare in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres airing today.

"When [medical professionals] say, 'You've got cancer' there's that moment of scary," Jane said on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." "And then I felt like I've just become a part of a huge family of women - survivors of breast cancer."

Jane discovered a small tumor in her breast during a routine checkup earlier this year. The actress is now cancer free after undergoing a procedure in November to have the non-invasive tumor removed.

"I'm really lucky," said Jane.

The fitness icon will re-launch her Fonda Workout brand with a series of DVDs and workout equipment on December 26.
