Ay caramba! Check out a behind-the-scenes look at "Mad Men" star Jon Hamm at work in "The Simpsons" recording studio as he prepares to shake things up in Springfield.
"I play an FBI supervisor who will go unnamed as yet, although I prefer to think of him as 'Ron Graper,'" says Jon, who of course rose to fame playing "Mad Men"'s Don Draper.
Jon, who says he's a longtime "Simpsons" fan, will make his guest voice-appearance on the enduring animated series Sunday at 8 p.m. on FOX in an all-new episode that finds Homer going undercover as a mobster.
"There are some specific things that my character is asking Homer to do, and Homer has some difficulties with problem-solving in a very fundamental way, so that's where the basis of most of my frustration comes, and hilarity ensues," Jon dishes.
By the way, notice how the 38-year-old star is sporting a beard? That's just one of the perks of voice acting, he says. "You don't have to shave. I was considering not wearing pants... this is fantastic. I could do this again," Jon enthuses.
