After taking home the mirror ball trophy just last month, "Dancing with the Stars" champ Jennifer Grey had surgery to repair a ruptured disc in her back.
"I'm still recovering at home. I have to rest a bit more, but I feel great -- completely pain free," Grey told People.com. According to the website, the 'Dirty Dancing' star injured her back on the first evening of "Dancing"'s two-night finale.
Dr. Robert S. Bray Jr., who performed Grey's surgery at the D.I.S.C. Sports and Spine Center in Marina del Rey, Calif., told People that he suggests after a procedure like that "three to four days of bed rest, not dancing a waltz and a cha cha."
He added, "But with Jennifer, when she sets her mind to something, there's no stopping her."
