George Clooney's Girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis Returns to 'Leverage'

Elisabetta Canalis returns to "Leverage," the show on which she made her U.S. acting debut, as "The Italian" -- and ET has your sneak peek at the upcoming episode starring George Clooney's girlfriend.
We first met "The Italian" when she blackmailed Nate Ford (Timothy Hutton) into helping her bring down financier Damien Moreau (Goran Visnjic), so she is not high on the list of people that he would have his team rescue.
Nate, for those new to "Leverage," heads a band of grifters, thieves and con artists, who have turned their lives around and are using their skills to help people rather than rip them off.
In the upcoming episode, the team infiltrates a Department of Defense research lab in order to take down Damien and stop him from murdering a brilliant engineer and auctioning off her work to international terrorists. Along the way, Nate must rescue "The Italian" to save her life.
"The Big Bang Job" episode of "Leverage" starring Elisabetta airs Sunday, Dec. 19 at 9 p.m. on TNT.
