For the first and last time, "The Oprah Winfrey Show" opens its stage to give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the farewell season on the all-new "Season 25: Oprah Behind The Scenes" series, premiering on New Year's Day.

See what happens off-camera as the staff, guests and Oprah herself reveal a side the public has never seen of one of television's most popular and enduring series.

For example, in the first episode Lisa Morin, Senior Supervising Producer, tells Oprah, "It is a high-pressure job and it has been for 15 years. I think this year it started when you announced that the show was ending. You said to the world, 'We are going to knock your socks off.' I don't know about the rest of you but that gave me a pit in my stomach."

And co-producer Brian Piotrowicz admitted he felt like throwing up just before the 25th season premiered because he was worried about how the surprise they had planned for the four ladies from Boston, who were driving to Chicago, because they had inspired by Gayle and Oprah's road trip and wanted to do emulate it.

And senior producer Jenna Kostelnik agreed, adding, "I was just so nervous about it all. In the end there were so many things that could have gone wrong, I was just relieved."

"Season 25: Oprah Behind The Scenes" premieres on Saturday, January 1 at 8 p.m, and moves to its regular Fridays at 8 p, timeslot beginning Friday, January 7.
