'Jersey Shore' Star DJ Pauly D Gets Spin-Off Show

"Jersey Shore" star Paul "DJ Pauly D" DelVecchio signed a deal to star in his own spin-off show, the first of the group to branch out.
MTV announced Wednesday that the self-proclaimed "guido" DJ's spin-off will be based on footage filmed in September. MTV programming veep Chris Linn says viewers are "curious about his life away from the shore, and we look forward to exploring new possibilities around that."
Meanwhile, the third season of "Jersey Shore" begins Jan. 6 on MTV.
