Felicity Huffman, Larry Hagman and Polly Bergen dished to ET about the next episode of "Desperate Housewives" when Lynette (Felicity) disapproves of her mom's (Polly) potential mate (Larry).
"Well, it's a different character for me," said Larry who played J.R. on the classic TV drama "Dallas." "It's kind of hard-boiled New Yorker I guess."
Polly gave her take on Larry's role, saying, "He is unbelievably obnoxious. He's the most obnoxious character that you can possibly imagine in this particular piece."
Why would Polly's character want to marry such a man? So she can spend his money.
"Look, I married three guys for love and I got screwed by all three of them and left piss poor," said Polly, explaining her character's motivation. "I said this time I'm going for the money."
Larry, 79, and Polly, 80, have over 100 years of acting experience between them but this is the first time the two have worked together. Polly joked about their "unprecedented" performance.
"I think the thing that's interesting is that it's the only show that I know so far that has two elderly people screwing," said the actress. "I don't think they've done it on any other prime-time show."
Don't miss Larry on this Sunday's episode of "Desperate Housewives" only on ABC.
