With several of the bachelorettes still not having had a one-on-one date with "The Bachelor"'s Brad Womack, it was a surprise on Monday night when Ashley H. and Ashley S., both of whom had gone on solo dates, were pitted against each other in a two-on-one date in Las Vegas from which one of them would not return.

Now ETonline talks to 26-year-old Ashley S., a nanny in New York, to find out just how terrible it felt to go up against her best friend in the house in an effort to win "The Bachelor"'s heart.

Do you have a clue as to why Brad chose Ashley H. over you?

Ashley Spivey: I am upset that they didn't show more of the conversation because I think it would have shown the viewers more of why I was sent home. During the dinner conversation, it was really awkward and I made a comment that no matter what happens after this dinner, I am going to be brokenhearted. If Ashley H. got sent home, who was my best friend in the house and I knew how strongly she felt for Brad at that point, I would be brokenhearted. If I was sent home, I would be brokenhearted because I was looking forward to getting to know him better. After I said that, I could kind of tell that his mood changed.

Maybe this is kind of messed up for me to say, but at that point, I was more in love with Ashley H. than Brad.

After he didn't give me the rose, he said I would make a great wife, but I wouldn't make a great wife for him. Before he walked me to the limo he said that that question bothered him because it made him think that I wasn't just there for him. He didn't want me to be so concerned with other girls in the house. I don't want to throw him under the bus. But that is my personality. I am a nanny. I care about other people. I take care of other people all day long. I hadn't anticipated going into the house that I would love the other girls as much as I did. Maybe that was what hurt me. Maybe I shouldn't have gotten so involved with the other girls, but I think it is inevitable when you spend 24 hours a day with the other girls and you only have a couple of hours with the bachelor.

Did Ashley H. get to say anything to you before you left?

Ashley Spivey: We got to hug before I walked away. It wasn't just that I kind of got up and left. We talked before. We said no matter what, we weren't going to have any hard feelings and we weren't going to be mad at the person. If we made it to the end, we would just invite the other person to our wedding and hope they would be happy for us.

What do you think of Michelle?

Ashley Spivey: Watching the show, I have been surprised. I would say Michelle was one of my favorite people in the house prior to this. I didn't know what she was saying in interviews, like the comment that she wanted to split Ashley H. and me up. She never acted that way in the house. She even did my hair for most of the rose ceremonies. I love her. I don't know if she is playing a character, so that if she acts a little crazy, she gets more screen time. How she is being portrayed on camera is not the real Michelle.

You got a rose tattoo while you were in Las Vegas. Any regrets about that now?

Ashley Spivey: I am still perfectly okay with it. I hadn't had any tattoos prior. It is something I always wanted to do. I couldn't figure out anyway better to commemorate this experience. It is a once in a lifetime type of thing. I did it with my best friends in the house. It signified how different I wanted to be in relationships. I don't look down at it and say, "Oh, I got this before Brad eliminated me." It reminds me how much fun and how good a time I had on "The Bachelor."

Now that you are out of the competition, who do you think is right for Brad?

Ashley Spivey: Even in watching the show now, I think Ashley H. and Emily have the strongest connection. Even what he says he wants in a wife, I think Ashley H. and Emily meet the qualifications best.

Is there anyone that you feel is wrong for Brad?

Ashley Spivey: There was one person while I was there, who I knew they had a connection, but I wasn't sure if that connection was what Brad was saying he wanted in a wife. I felt they had more of a sexual connection. I would say that person is Chantal O. I think Brad says he wants a best friend and someone to make him feel better at the end of the day. I think Ashley H. and Emily fit that better. I think he has more of a sexual connection with Chantal O.

"The Bachelor" airs Monday nights at 8 p.m. on ABC.
