"NCIS: Los Angeles" star LL Cool J sat down with ET's Mary Hart to discuss his diet, his one performing weakness and the success of his new show.
"I love banana pudding, I love ice cream," LL said with a smile on Monday. "I mean if the ice cream is soft enough, I might go through half a gallon in one basketball game."
The actor and body builder is featured on the cover of Men's Fitness magazine's March issue, and LL advised that weight watchers should look for balance in their diet as opposed to giving up their favorite foods cold turkey.
"If you have dessert on the weekends or you have even a whole day on Saturday of eating what you want, but you pace yourself during the week and you don't overdo it with the carbs," said LL. "There's little things you do to stay right and feel good."
Although, LL has always been known for his physique, there is one physical exercise that he isn't good at - dancing.
"I never was a dancer," said the hip-hop legend. "From the knees down I never did much."
But LL did open the 2011 Grammys which featured some talented dancers including Jaden Smith.
"Will [Smith] was beaming," said LL. "I looked at Will and said, 'He's better than you.'"
Following his success in music, LL has found a tremendous following for the CBS drama "NCIS: Los Angeles," which has the second biggest audience for the genre.
"[The audience] wanted to grow along with us, and give us a chance to get better," said LL. "And they stuck with us so far. And hopefully they feel like the show is getting better."
Watch ET tonight to see LL co-host part the show with Mary! "NCIS: Los Angeles" airs Tuesdays on CBS.
