Justin Bieber's character met a shocking end on Thursday night's "CSI," going out with a bang – literally.

Bieber's troubled character Jason McCann, who returned to the show after he bombed a funeral, finds himself in a standoff with Las Vegas police. He pulls a gun and gets shot down and killed in slow-motion, Sam Peckinpah-style.

As expected, the controversial ending has Beliebers buzzing like mad on the boards.

His "CSI" days may be over, but judging by the opening-weekend success of his big-screen movie 'Justin Bieber: Never Say Never,' the teen heartthrob's big and small-screen career is just beginning.

"CSI" airs Thursday nights at 9/8c on CBS.
