Kathy Griffin to Play 'Sarah Palin-Type' Role on 'Glee'

"D-list" star Kathy Griffin is following in the footsteps of many A-listers (Gwyneth Paltrow and Britney Spears) by guest starring on "Glee."
A source tells ET that Griffin will be playing a judge who is a "Sarah Palin-type character."
Griffin and the Palin family have bumped heads in the past, as the comedian has made jokes about Sarah's daughter Bristol Palin's weight in her stand-up routine.
