"Dancing With the Stars" host Tom Bergeron allowed the suspense to build during season 12's first results show on Tuesday night.
After two weeks of landing the lowest judges' scores of the pack, "Psycho" Mike Catherwood was eliminated from the ballroom. Fans of his radio show could not seem to pull him and partner Lacey Schwimmer through to the next week of competition. Sugar Ray Leonard was spared in the final moments of the show.
Mike joins the ranks of David Hasselhoff, Jeffrey Ross, and Kenny Mayne as the first contestant to unlace his dance shoes in his given season. He joked, "It pretty much puts me on the Mount Rushmore of terrible dancers."
Also on the results show, a new "Dancing With the Stars" troupe of professional dancers debuted an energetic routine. Controversial artist Chris Brown returned to ABC for two songs, just days after reportedly smashing a window on the network's
"Good Morning America."
The ten contestants left standing will be hard at work in rehearsal this week to prepare for Monday's "Dancing with the Stars" performance show on ABC.
