Arnold Schwarzenegger officially unveiled the trailer for "The Governator" in Cannes on Monday, and we have your first look!
Arnold's super alter ego was announced last week with a cover story in Entertainment Weekly. Co-created by comic-book legend Stan Lee and inspired by Arnold's real-life stint as California's governor, "The Governator" finds the former bodybuilder and Hollywood star leaving political office to become a crime-fighting vigilante, with his lair located underneath his home in Brentwood, California.
The trailer's description says it all: Who has special "Speak Sprays" (disguised as breath freshener) that let him speak a foreign language? Who has an electronic "Fly Spy" with a mini-cam that activates through his ring, and tracks through his "G Shades"? Who has Bubble Trouble (bubblegum), that splats to form a face mask secret identity? With his 3 amazing teenage cohorts, his underground lair of super vehicles, and his digital super suits, who delivers the ULTIMATE in both comedy and action. The GOVERNATOR!
The trailer also features a fun cameo by Larry King.
"First will come comic books, then a TV series, and after that we will develop the games and then a movie," said Arnold in Cannes.
Look for "The Governator" in 2012.
