WATCH: Kelly Ripa's Emotional Reaction to Soap Cancellations

Yesterday, ABC announced that they are canceling two of their long-running soap operas, "One Life to Live" and "All My Children." Kelly Ripa cut her teeth acting on the latter show, and on "Live! With Regis & Kelly" she shared that Thursday "was the worst day."

"I grew up on 'All My Children'; I mean I grew up as a person," she said. "I worked there, I grew up watching 'One Life to Live,' so it was a very sad, sad day for me."
