President Barack Obama Addresses Birth Certificate Fiasco on 'Oprah'

By

After Donald Trump's relentless crusade debating President Barack Obama's American citizenship, the commander-in-chief, along with first lady Michelle Obama, appeared on "Oprah" to publicly denounce the naysayers.

After the White House released his birth certificate from Hawaii earlier
today, Obama spoke his piece during a taping of the show on "once
again" having to confirm his status as a U.S. citizen. "Keep in mind
what had happened," the President uttered. "This came up two and a half
years ago, and so we called up the folks in Hawaii and the Department of
Health."

The entertaining part of the interview was when everyone, including Oprah Winfrey
and her audience, shared a hearty laugh at Obama's recollection when
the queen of daytime asked him if he had any doubts when the issue
initially came up. "Can I just say? I was there, so I knew that I had
been born."

Hear what else the leader of the free world had to say in the clips and
don't forget to catch this episode of "Oprah" on Monday, May 2.
