'DWTS' Contestant Kirstie Alley 'Hanging On For Dear Life'

By

ET host Mark Steines met up with Kirstie Alley and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy as the two prepare for the upcoming "Dancing with the Stars" semi-finals round, and the atmosphere was light to say the least.

The pair horsed around with our host and joked about being ready for the next round, with Kirstie admittedly "hanging on for dear life," despite this being the biggest week of dancing she'll have to face. She also took slight jabs at Hines Ward, fellow "Dancing with the Stars" contestant, someone she's taken personal interest in.

"He's a football player," Kirstie affirmed. "He knocks people around, so he can take it."

Kirstie also shared her thoughts on Ashton Kutcher being right for the job, having learned that he's set to join the cast of "Two and a Half Men."

"He doesn't even need to be funny because he is funny," Kirstie said matter-of-factly. "He's handsome and he's funny, what else do you want?"
