Donald Trump has decided not to run for president of the United States and will keep saying "You're Fired" as host of NBC's "Celebrity Apprentice."

In an announcement Monday, the billionaire real estate mogul said that while a run for the presidency was tempting, he had decided to focus on growing his business empire. "I have spent the past several months unofficially campaigning and recognize that running for public office cannot be done halfheartedly. Ultimately, however, business is my greatest passion and I am not ready to leave the private sector."

Despite his decision not to pursue the Republican nomination for president, Trump vowed to stay involved in the political debate and said he would continue to "voice my opinions loudly and help to shape our politicians' thoughts."

The announcement came as NBC, which airs Trump's show, rolled out its fall lineup, which includes 12 new series -- six dramas and six comedies -- for the upcoming season.
