Actor Jeff Conaway, who starred on "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew," has been hospitalized at Encino Hospital Medical Center in California after an apparent overdose, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Reportedly, Conaway remains in critical condition with pneumonia and is unconscious.

The actor shot to stardom in the '70s and '80s after booking roles in 'Grease' and the TV show "Taxi." His career eventually declined when he succumbed to substance abuse.

Conaway sought recovery from drug addiction by joining "Celebrity Rehab," but he grew agitated, frequently threatening to forfeit treatment.
