Josh Duhamel Reprises 'All My Children' Role

Josh Duhamel is going home again for the final season of "All My Children," returning to lend his talents to the show that gave him his start over 10 years ago.

ET has learned that the actor will make a cameo in August, the month before the show's final broadcast, as Leo du Pres, the con artist he embodied for several years until the character was thought to have been killed off in 2003.

"Everyone at 'All My Children' is thrilled and excited to welcome Josh back to Pine Valley," said Julie Carruthers, executive producer of "All My Children." "The appearance of Leo is sure to be one of the highlights of the season."

In April, ABC announced the cancellation of the television staple after a 41-year run. In addition to Duhamel, the show gave rise to many other stars including Kelly Ripa and Ryan Phillippe.
