Heartbreaker Bentley Reveals His True Colors on 'The Bachelorette'

He loves me, he loves me not. "The Bachelorette"'s Ashley Hebert plucked petals off roses in her mind as she struggled to determine the true intentions of her leading men. Two of Ashley's biggest fears came to fruition on Monday night's heart wrenching episode…one guy exited early and another wished she hadn't been cast as "The Bachelorette."

Ashley's heart shattered to pieces when frontrunner Bentley announced he was leaving because he missed his daughter. Using his little girl merely as a scapegoat, the villainous contestant really was just not into Ashley and didn't want to prolong the inevitable breakup any longer. About to visit Ashley at her bachelorette pad to deliver the news, Bentley was more concerned about his hair looking okay for the camera than Ashley's sensitive emotions. "I never knew I would come in here and so soon be heart broken," Ashley sobbed after splitting with Bentley. "I'm ready for my happy ending."

A second villain emerged in perhaps the unlikeliest of characters. Despite almost eloping in Vegas on last week's episode, William dropped a bombshell that nearly shattered their future. On a group date, several bachelors were challenged with roasting Ashley. William said, "They say one man's trash is another man's treasure. I thought I signed up to be with Emily [Maynard] or Shawntel [Newton] and then Ashley's here."

Clearly upset, Ashley retreated to the back of the room and broke into tears. Did the roast make William toast in the competition? Not so much. Ashley found it within her heart to present her final rose of the evening to the one-time frontrunner.

The phantom of "The Bachelorette," Jeff, finally removed his mask to reveal his full face. Ashley was polite, but surprised at his mature age. Jeff's unique tactic to find love via the beauty from within didn't work in his favor. Ashley did not offer him a rose.

The entire episode was not grim and nightmarish. It kicked off on a high note full of laughter. On a one-on-one date with Ben, Ashley ambushed him with a flash dance. The two rehearsed a routine in a studio and she later coaxed him into rehearsing in the middle of a public place. To his surprise, an entire flash mob soon joined in on the dance.

The emotional rollercoaster continues next Monday on "The Bachelorette" on ABC.
