'Teen Mom' Amber Portwood Threatens Suicide

ET has learned that police visited Amber Portwood in Anderson, Indiana after the 'Teen Mom' star threatened to commit suicide.
The local police department responded to a call on Tuesday at 11:34 A.M., saying that Amber, 21, was depressed and on the verge of ending her life.
According to a statement from the Anderson Police Department "[Amber], who did not appear to be injured, was transported to a local medical facility for further evaluation."
MTV also released their own statement regarding the situation, saying, "Our understanding is that Amber has been admitted to a local hospital but we have not been able to confirm the accuracy of any reports being circulated and are waiting for further details. Our thoughts are with her and we hope to hear more soon."
Earlier this month Amber was sentenced to probation after pleading guilty to commiting two counts of felony domestic battery against Gary Shirley, the father of her child.
