'The Biggest Loser' Contestants Talk Weight Battle

The Biggest Loser is back for its 12th season, and the new contestants all seem amped up and ready to revitalize their lives!

During their press junket, the 14 new participants all appear to be ready to shed some pounds, but nearly every one of them seem to have a deeper goal in mind than vying for the hefty cash prize: getting in shape for their futures.

"You get on the scale and you're not 476, your 24 away from 500 [lbs.]," contestant Antone Davis said. "It's just one of those things that hit me that I have to do something or I'm gonna die."

Luckily, the contestants will have two new trainers, Dolvett Quince and tennis star Anna Kournikova, along with veteran Bob Harper to help them reach their goals. Another new feature in this season will be their "Battle of the Ages" concept, where the older participants will be pitted against their younger counterparts and those that fall in between, a component that can help level the playing field.

"I'm actually really excited about Battle of the Ages because it really is going to show people that the only number that really matters is the number that you see up on the scale," Bob Harper said. "It is anybody's game in this house."

Hear more from Bob, the other trainers and the contestants in the video! Don't miss the season premiere of The Biggest Loser when it airs Tuesday, September 20, on NBC!
