While putting his recent scandals behind him, Charlie Sheen seemed to jump out of the frying pan and into the fire on Saturday night during the taping of his Comedy Central roast.

"I should enjoy the moments prior to the dissection," Charlie joked with ET's Chris Jacobs when asked about his calm demeanor.

Comedian Jeffrey Ross, who showed up dressed as Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi, commended the actor for being such a great sport and revealed that Charlie didn't put any boundaries on what could be joked about at the podium.

Ross took full advantage of Charlie's tough skin with jokes like, "Charlie - don't you want to live to see your kids take their first 12 steps?" but who was the night's best?

Charlie's ex-wife Brooke Mueller was most excited about Seth MacFarlane but Seth called William Shatner's performance the most impressive.

Other notable roasters included Mike Tyson, comedian Anthony Jeselnik, Jon Lovitz and Kate Walsh.

Catch the Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen Monday, September 19 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, coincidentally the same night Two and a Half Men returns to CBS at 9/8c.
