LeAnn Admits: We 'Could've Handled it Better'

By
As genuinely happy as LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian seem to be in their first year of marriage bliss, it appears they can't escape the elephant in the room; both LeAnn and Eddie were married when they fell in love.
Married in April of this year, both parties have been quite vocal in their newfound happiness, but less eager to speak of the uglier elements of their past. LeAnn sat down with The Ellen DeGeneres Show for an episode airing Thursday, September 29 to clear the air and hopefully gain understanding from critics and tabloids.
"We made decisions that were not necessarily the right ones," she begins, "but it obviously brought us to the place where we are now. And, we're happy and we're married."
"It happens," LeAnn continues. "I will always say, it could've been handled a lot better but maybe we both didn't have the tools at the time to do it properly."
As for their respective exes, Rimes' former husband recently re-married and seems to prefer to keep mum on the subject. Cibrian's ex is the newest cast member on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and is unfortunately quite a bit more vocal. In her Monday debut, Brandi Glanville refers to Eddie as the "Number one douche bag of all time."
Regardless of what people might have to say on the matter, Rimes says the best thing she's learned to do it simply "let it go and laugh at it at the end of the day."
