Starting in the summer of 2012, Charlie Sheen will return to television with the sitcom Anger Management, based on the 2003 film of the same name.
Ten episodes of the former CBS star's new sitcom have been ordered by FX, who plan to pair the series with its Two and a Half Men reruns.
Back in July, Charlie released a statement explaining his decision to jump on board with the project. "I chose Anger Management because, while it might be a big stretch for me to play a guy with serious anger management issues, I think it is a great concept," Sheen said. "It also provides me with real ownership in the series, a certain amount of creative control and the chance to be back in business with one of my favorite movie producers of all time, Joe Roth."
Charlie expressed his excitement for the news via Twitter Thursday writing: "#AngerManagement Summer 2012... FX here we come!!"
