The Trips and Triumphs of the 'DWTS' Finals

The cast of Dancing with the Stars' 13th season has been whittled down to the final three contestants, who gave it their all on Monday night for their final performances.

Arguably, the contestant to feel the most pressure could be Ricki Lake, who provided the night's first performance, as her partner, Derek Hough, has won the competition every time he's made it to the finals. He is currently the defending champion, having won last season with partner Jennifer Grey.

Acting as a true professional, Ricki transformed that pressure into positive energy to fuel her performance, which garnered a 27 out of 30 points. Her second dance, the freestyle, earned the same for a total of 54 for the night.

Possibly, the contest's most improved dancer, Rob Kardashian, also earned a 27 for his first dance, but did even better when he returned to the floor, picking up a perfect 30 for his freestyle. Rob and partner Cheryl Burke topped the scoreboard with a 57.

J.R. Martinez started the night in a hole as he was given a 24 for his cha cha. He and partner Karina Smirnoff's freestyle helped them climb out of their ditch when judges gave them a 30. The perfect score caused them to come from behind and break even with Ricki's 54.
